Ben Stout

Benjamin Stout, Owner/CEO

Ben Stout, Owner/CEO of Ben Stout Construction, leads his team by focusing on empowering their growth, developing systematic approaches, and hiring the BEST team members.

His passion and vision for achieving BSC’s goals keep his team driving toward the next challenge with an open-minded environment for solving problems. In addition to BSC, he enjoys creating family-friendly developments through his company, Stout Land Development, LLC. Producing multiple lots for fellow builders, BSC, and happy homeowners is the driving force for his growing land company.

His personal recognition includes being nominated as one of Fayetteville Observer’s 40 under 40, serving as President of the Fayetteville HBA, being selected to serve on the North Carolina HBA nominating committee (2022), chairing the City of Fayetteville Planning and Variance board, chairing the City of Fayetteville Stormwater board, and representing BSC at many social events throughout the community.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, he is a diehard fan and loves visiting Athens to watch his Bulldogs play! Supported by an amazing family, he enjoys spending time on the beach, coaching, and teaching his children through their various activities.

Brian Walker, President

Brian Walker, President, is responsible for integrating the company’s strategic planning to achieve the objectives of the business plan with the aim of maximizing return and minimizing risk for the company.

Brian is a native of Fayetteville and no stranger to the construction industry. As the son of Joe Walker, a well-known builder in the area, he brings lifelong experience and expertise to BSC. He has worked in all aspects of the industry and was most recently the Division President of the largest home builder in the area. Brian is highly regarded in the field and a respected leader in the industry.

Brian has been involved in the Home Builders Association of Fayetteville serving on numerous committees and is a past president. He is currently serving on the Board of the Moore County Home Builders Association. He is active in his church at St. Andrews United Methodist Church and is the current president of the Men’s Association.

In his downtime, he enjoys his family, golf, the lake, watching sports, and traveling.

Cody Sharpless

Cody Sharpless, Chief Construction Officer

As Chief Construction Officer, Cody Sharpless is responsible for every aspect of the production and construction of all residential homes, as well as the training and safety of the project managers.

Cody’s systematic and forward-thinking approach to operational planning plays a pivotal role in BSC’s ability to thrive in this contemporary operating environment. His exceptional leadership proves to bring the best out of all team members, allowing BSC to become one of the fastest-growing residential build companies in the state of North Carolina. His unparalleled work ethic and keen attention to detail keep BSC on track to become one of the largest residential build companies in the region.

Cody is a proud military veteran with over 12 operational deployments in high-threat environments around the world in both a military capacity and as a private security contractor. He had the privilege of sitting on numerous philanthropy committees and currently sits on the Membership Committee for the Home Builders Association of Fayetteville, a community that has given him so much.

On the rare occasion when Cody is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and riding the open road on his steel horse.

Stacy Simmons, Chief Operating Officer

Stacy Simmons, the Chief Operating Officer for Ben Stout Construction, is responsible for creating and maintaining systems that directly incorporate all aspects of the company.

Stacy is relentless in her approach to perfection, with a team-first attitude and willingness to think outside the box. She communicates at a high level and her work ethic is the function of her success. She is committed to making BSC the model of efficiency and effectiveness with her methods and techniques. She hopes to be an integral part of the growth and development of BSC.

Stacy is involved in community and national organizations, supporting the Home Builders Association of Fayetteville, the Moore County Home Builders Association, Falcons Children’s Home, Beaver Dam Baptist Church, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling with her family, reading, shopping, listening to music, and quiet time by the pool.
