Ben Stout

Benjamin Stout, President

Ben Stout, President of Ben Stout Construction, leads his team by focusing on empowering their growth, developing systematic approaches, and hiring the BEST team members.

 

His passion and vision for achieving BSC’s goals keeps his team driving towards the next challenge with an open-minded environment for solving problems. In addition to BSC, he enjoys creating family-friendly developments through his company, Stout Land Development, LLC. Producing multiple lots for fellow builders, BSC, and happy homeowners is the driving force for his growing land company.

 

His personal recognition includes being nominated as one of Fayetteville Observer’s 40 under 40, serving as President of the Fayetteville HBA, being selected to server on the North Carolina HBA nominating committee (2022), chairing the City of Fayetteville Planning and Variance board, chairing the City of Fayetteville Stormwater board, and representing BSC at many social events throughout the community.

 

A graduate of the University of Georgia, he is a diehard fan and loves visiting Athens to watch his Bulldogs play! Supported by an amazing family, he enjoys spending time on the beach, coaching, and teaching his children through their various activities.

Christina Kenon

Christina Kenon, Vice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Chris Kenon analyzes the overall health of Ben Stout Construction. Her focus is on strategic planning, efficient system implementation, cost analysis, and employee recruitment and retention.

Chris focuses her attention on the details and strives to lead by example. Her goal is to operate with highly efficient systems and processes that produce accurate results.

 

Chris is an advocate for supporting small business, health, and fitness. She has served on several boards, to include The Professional Women of Fayetteville, Fayetteville Running Club, and being nominated as Cross Creek Cycling Club’s first female president. In 2013, Chris was nominated as one of Fayetteville Observer’s 40 Under 40.

 

When Chris isn’t working or spending time with her grandson and sidekick bulldog, you might see her out biking or running as she trains for her next Ironman.

Cody Sharpless

Cody Sharpless, Vice President of Construction

As Vice President of Construction, Cody Sharpless is responsible for every aspect of production and construction of all residential homes, as well as the training and safety of the Project Managers. 

Cody’s systematic and forward-thinking approach to operational planning plays a pivotal role in BSC’s ability to thrive in this contemporary operating environment. His exceptional leadership proves to bring the best out of all team members, allowing BSC to become one of the fastest growing residential build companies in the state of North Carolina. His unparalleled work ethic and keen attention to detail keeps BSC on track to becoming one of the largest residential build companies in the region. 

Cody is a proud military veteran with over 12 operational deployments in high threat environments around the world in both a military capacity and as a private security contractor. He had the privilege of sitting on numerous philanthropy committees and currently sits on the Membership Committee for the Home Builders Association of community that has given him so much. 

On the rare occasion when Cody is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and riding the open road on his steel horse.

Rodney Baker, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Rodney Baker oversees branding, social media, sales budgeting, and sales management. 

Rodney recently led number one ranked sales teams in Fayetteville and Wilmington New Homes markets for 8 consecutive years for H&H Homes. He believes in being a leader with a vision and surrounding himself with people who are as good, if not better, than he is. Having compassion for those he leads with the ability to be firm when needed are key factors to his success. Rodney says his success in life can be attributed to putting the same energy into his personal life and relationships as he does into his career. 

When Rodney isn’t focused on selling homes, you can find him spending time with his family and friends, enjoying nature, staying in shape, and traveling.
